I know that I am a creature of comfort and changes in my daily life or way of living are not always the most welcome visitor!  Change is like stepping out on the ice and trusting it will hold you.  I don’t always like those adventures!  Most of the time though, once you transition through the change you realize it’s a much better way of living or being.  If we never embrace change, we never grow and expand in new exciting ways.  I like to allow the change to bring new energy and spaciousness to me, which has the opportunity to open up many more doorways.

Brilliance is defined as an intense brightness of light.  I believe we all have a vivid, bright light that shines through us and out into the world.  Sometimes we may find that shadows cast a darkness on our light, but we simply need to take a step out and move away from the shadow.  Is it possible that we dim our own light when we don’t believe in ourselves?  I find that to be true for myself when I don’t believe in my unique gift of light.  Many times it is so much easier to believe that others have a stronger, brighter, and more powerful light than I do.  I believe it can be scary to shine your brilliance in the world, because then your brightness will shine and you will need to step into it.  In the end though, isn’t that what our incarnation in this life is all about?  Sharing our light to help and support others.  I like to think that was my goal for this lifetime.  What do you believe?

We have GPS on our phones to help us find our way to new destinations. Where is the GPS for navigation of the path of our lives? I think we connect to that navigation when we allow quiet to calm our thoughts and when we can settle into the wisdom of our soul that calls our heart home. I believe that actions in our life are whispered to us in moments of time, allowing us to take those small baby steps on our path. I think we sometimes negate those whisperings because we don’t believe or don’t know how to do whatever is presenting itself. I know for myself I have stopped so many thoughts dead in their track by saying “I don’t know how…” What if I just had trust and took some kind of inspired action based on that divine whisper? I like to reflect on the possibilities. I will listen with an open heart and trust in the future.

Our path is not always clearly defined. We “follow the yellow brick road” until it leads us to an obstacle. Is our path really out of control, or is that the whisperings of the ego mind trying to stump us? If grace is a refinement of movement, don’t we have the chance to gracefully adjust our path and try a new direction? If we take a moment to stop and breathe, we can find a place of calm. From that place of centeredness, we can feel into what makes us think our path is out of control. Move your body slightly and gracefully shift the energy from being stuck to a place of flow. This is our time. We signed up to be the helpers and guides and way showers to help humanity find their divine passion for making this world a better place. We have had much time to focus on our personal empowerment and to connect to our healing gifts. Now is the time to turn “me” into “we.” Small simple steps or actions done with the right intention will multiply and send a wave of healing out into the world. What can you do? A simple smile to a stranger may have lasting impact. Witnessing a chapter of one’s life story offers a sense of connection. In the end, isn’t part of healing the world all about validation of someone’s life? To let that person know their existence matters. It’s all about connection. We are connected to the Earth we walk upon, to the star system that guides us through the night, to the plant and animal kingdom that co-exists with us, to the person next to us in the grocery store line. Doorways are portals of passage transporting you to new experiences.

When a new story shows up in our life, we try to figure out how to deal with it based on our current book of knowledge.  Never assume that what you know is all there is to know.  What if we ventured through a new doorway that led us to a brand new approach to deal with this story? 

 Letting your heart lead you is allowing the wisdom of your soul to take you down a new path in a familiar space or into a new realm that you never imagined.   Does the heart analyze and rationalize the pros and cons of each thought in your life?  Does the heart have all of the answers or specifications for each doorway?  No, the heart feels, the heart allows you to express emotion, the heart allows you to be part of the energy of the thought.  The heart knows your joy, your passions, your desires, the essence of your spirit.  Can the senses of your heart tap into the wisdom of your soul and lead you through new doorways?  I believe the answer is “yes” once you travel away from the logic of the mind and open the door to the magic of inspiration.
